Multiply 3 Binomials

In this article we are going to see about how to multiply the binomials. Binomial is a one of the type of polynomial. Binomial has two terms in its equation. There are different variables and constant values are used in binomials. Binomials are easily multiplied together. Polynomials are having different powers in its equation. Binomials are obtained by multiplying the two monomials. Now in this article we see about some problems related to multiplying 3 binomials.

I am planning to write more post on Dividing Binomials, Factor a Polynomial. Keep checking my blog.

Example Problems for Multiply 3 Binomials
Multiply 3 binomials example problem 1:

Multiply the given binomials (3x + 1), (2x - 3) and (5x + 1)

Solution:

Given binomials are (3x + 1), (2x - 3) and (5x + 1)

First we multiply the first two binomials, we get

(3x + 1) * (2x - 3) = (3x * 2x) + (1 * 2x) + (-3 * 3x) + (-3 * 1)

After simplification, we get

= (6x2 + 2x - 9x - 3)

Simplify the above equation, we get

= 6x2 - 7x - 3

Multiply the above value with (5x + 1), we get

= (6x2 - 7x - 3) * (5x + 1)

= (6x2 * 5x) - (7x * 5x) - (3 * 5x) + 6x2 - 7x - 3

After simplification, we get

= 30x3 - 35x2 - 15x + 6x2 - 7x - 3

Simplify the above equation, we get

= 30x3 - 29x2 - 22x - 3

Answer:

The multiplication value of the given 3 binomials is 30x3 - 29x2 - 22x - 3
Multiply 3 Binomials Example Problem 2:

Multiply the given binomials (6x + 3), (x - 2) and (x + 4)

Solution:

Given binomials are (6x + 3), (x - 2) and (x + 4)

First we multiply the first two binomials, we get

(6x + 3) * (x - 2) = (6x * x) + (3 * x) + (-2 * 6x) + (-2 * 3)

After simplification, we get

= (6x2 + 3x - 12x - 6)

Simplify the above equation, we get

= 6x2 - 9x - 6

Multiply the above value with (x + 4), we get

= (6x2 - 9x - 6) * (x + 4)

= (6x2 * x) - (9x * x) - (6 * x) + (6x2 * 4) - (9x * 4) - (6 * 4)

After simplification, we get

= 6x3 - 9x2 - 6x + 24x2 - 36x - 24

Simplify the above equation, we get

= 6x3 - 15x2 - 42x - 24

Answer:

The multiplication value of the given 3 binomials is 6x3 - 15x2 - 42x - 24
